What Music Do You Play?
Our station plays current chart music - so if your music fits into these genre categories (Pop, RnB, Hip Hop, Dance, Rock, Indie, Garage or Other Urban) then please send it through to us.

Do You Play Cover Versions?
No! We want to encourage ORIGINAL material and encourage young local artists and bands to start their career by being themselves. Use your own creativity to get a head start!

My Music Uses Samples, Is This OK?
No! Unless it has been cleared by the MCPS, as well as the Original Artist, and you can prove this.

REMEMBER: It is ILLEGAL to sample music without permission from the Original Artist or their Label!

I'm Not From Leicester, Is This OK?
As a Leicester station, we want to promote Leicester artists and bands! We are open to recieving music from those in county towns and villages within Leicestershire, but outside of Leicestershire we will simply treat your music as we would from all other music groups that we recieve music from.

I Sent My Music A Long Time Ago and Haven't Heard Anything Back, Why Is This?
We recieve hundreds of tracks a month - and we're also limited with time. We aim to respond to all tracks we recieve, but sometimes this can either take a while or may even be impossible.

If a track is suitable for air play, we will always respond - if you don't hear anything, please try again or keep on improving with music and we may be in touch soon!

I've Got Songs, Would You Consider Playing Them?
Yes! No need to send an email asking us without sending music, that's what this section is here to explain. Just send us the music and your infomation.

After I've Sent My Song, Can You Give Me Some Feedback?
We can only respond in a manner that is either a yes to addition, or no that we won't be adding the track - we will then explain reasons why and how it can eventually be added.

We can not give constructive feedback to each individual song as it'd be unfair to you as we are not Music Industry experts - we leave this to music labels and management companies.

Why Have You Not Played My Song?
Nobody has a given right for their song to be aired! Have patience and remember your manners.

I've Sent You Music with EXPLICIT CONTENT, Is This OK?
NO! Edit your music first - if you want it aired, don't leave it to us to edit otherwise it just appears to you can't be THAT bothered.

I Can't Be Bothered To Write An Email Properly. I Don't Bother To Introduce Myself, You'll Still Play My Music Won't You?
No! If you can't be bothered to explain yourself as an artist or band first, why should we take the time to listen to your music and play it on air?

What Format Shall I Send?
MP3 ONLY!... Please do not send WAV, WMA or MP4 files - we only work with MP3's!

Also ensure that the MP3 is 192kbs or above - anything less is too poor a quality!
